Frenzee Fishing Products - Bagging by Design

We had a great response at Evesham

Frenzee Poles at Evesham.

We had a great response at Evesham, some very good feedback indeed and to say I’m impresses with the pole range is an understatement.

I’m currently using the P1 666. I can honestly say it’s head and shoulders above anything else I’ve used in the past. The biggest test for me was a week last Wednesday when I drew a bit of a snag pit at viaduct. Having to fish 14m to a tree in the water on peg 74 on 'scary' Cary Lake. This lake is full of brutes and an average fish is between 8-12lb, with shallow water no more than four feet the fish can only do one thing, run!

I went armed with 14s and 16s latex through the generic kits and it was evident from the first fish I hooked just how good this pole is. The strength is amazing and putting the brakes on double figure fish with attitude is something it did with ease. I couldn’t quite believe it. My first fish was 15lb. I didn’t lose 1 fish in the snags and weighed 150lb for 3rd (must try harder).

The poles themselves are all built with the same mandrels and the only difference being the grade of carbon used. The P1 uses the very best in carbon technology and the quality shows.

The ship finish is superb and wall strength had to be seen to be believed. There is no give in the sections and the three butt sections also have an extra weave wrap for the bottom 2 feet(the elbow sections as I call them) to add extra reinforcement to areas that are notorious for damage. How many times have you lifted into fish or struck sharply at a bite to hear a little crack? I have lots of times and it doesn’t do anything for your confidence. Not with these poles, the butt section are super strong and the extra weave is there for exactly that purpose.

The weight has been mentioned and granted it’s not the lightest pole on the market but I’m afraid you can’t have both lightness and strength with rigidity, Fact! What you will realize though when you pick one up is the weight is added in reinforcing the butt sections therefore making the balance and response of the pole superb. Personally weight doesn’t bother me, balance does!

For those of you who saw the pole last weekend will realize that we showed them with a long fourth and a power kit in! Not something most manufactures will do. We even had a heavy hollow through one of the kits. Most will put a very light top kit in which will set a false impression in my view.

These poles have been built for the UK market and the demands we put on our kit.

If you see me on the bank come and have a play with it.
