Frenzee launches a range of Competition Poles

This is the launch of Frenzee’s first range of competition poles with the brief simply being to produce a top class tool for the demands of the UK match angler. There are three poles in the range which have been manufactured in Italy using the highest quality carbons available, the same as those used by the aerospace industry.

Each pole is packed with extras enabling you to benefit from our time spent rigorously testing. The joint alignment system will noticeably increase stiffness and responsiveness at longer lengths for increased bites to fish ratio. The strong extra weave used on the joints have been double overlapped making them less wearing when unshipping sections. Increased wall strength gives you the confidence you need to fish your given situations to full potential without risk of damage. Again by increasing wall strength even further along the pole towards the butt section helps deliver unrivalled balance and responsiveness. The sections have a unique finish of anti friction for use in all conditions, the super ship finish will glide through your hands at all times creating less bounce when shipping out those delicate rigs or when potting in bait. All butt sections from 11.5 to 16mtr have a double mesh weave applied to the bottom two feet of pole (the elbow section) enabling you to constantly strike at bites or ‘sit’ on the pole without fear of any cracks emerging. UK match angling is a varied and demanding scene, we think we’ve built a pole not to just cope but to outscore any other. Not only that but with these added features its sure to take the punishment you’ll give it and is without doubt built to last.

The 666, 665 and 664 have all been made from the same mandrill so all sections are inter changeable, it's the carbon cloth quality that changes which makes the P1 666 the flagship model.

These match poles scream class with goods to deliver the results you need.

Frenzee supports Angling Coach

Angling coach Graham Barton has received help from Frenzee for his work with young anglers. Graham, who is based in Newton Le Willows in Merseyside, approached the design and manufacturing company recently and Frenzee director John Pryce was pleased to donate angling accessories from the Frenzee range. Graham said, "I work with local schools and also with pupils with learning difficulties from the Borough Pupil Referral Unit. Some of these children cannot cope with mainstream school owing to family problems or issues with learning. Learning to fish is of great benefit to these youngsters, many of whom show great promise. We have a constant need for equipment as more young people become involved so it was a great help to receive the kit from Frenzee."

John Pryce of Frenzee said, "It is great that people like Graham are encouraging children to take up angling. He told us that the sport is very important to him personally as he is disabled and it keeps him motivated. Passing on his skills to young people, which he does purely on a voluntary basis, must be very rewarding and we are pleased to support him." Graham has coached for 10 years, qualifying as a level 2 angling coach 3 years ago with the Professional Anglers Association. He also coaches for the National Federation of Anglers. As assistant secretary and club coach at the Newton Le Willows Anglers Association, Graham spends much of his time involved with angling. During the summer months he works with the Environment Agency and Local Ranger service giving angling tuition to community groups. He said, "I met the guys from Frenzee at the Tackle & Gun show this year. The feeding cups and floats they have introduced are innovative and well designed. I have tried them myself and found them to be excellent. I now look forward to trying them out with my young trainees!"

Frenzee Floats Launched at Tackle & Gun

Frenzee, the UK based designer and manufacturer of angling accessories, launched a range of 30 pole floats at this month's Tackle & Gun show. The floats are available in 6 designs, each of which comes in sizes ranging from 0.2g to 2g. The FP100, 200, 300, 400 and 500 ranges are all tipped floats which have been designed for use in various waters and conditions. The FD100 is a dome topped dibber float. The ranges and their suggested applications are summarised by Frenzee director, Brian Bancroft, as follows.

"The first range, FP100 is ideal for fishing on the bottom with pellets, meat or sweet corn for carp and other big fish," said Brian. This float is constructed from best quality Balsa with a thick plastic tip and sturdy carbon stem. The FP200 range is a robust paste float with a "spring" type design eye attached. Both FP100 and 200 come in five sizes from 0.2g up to 1.0g. The FP300 has been designed as a multi purpose float, for all baits and all conditions. This range is a must for every angler. The shape of the body and the long stem combine to make the FP300 very sensitive and sizes range from 0.25g to 2.0g. For shallow water, we recommend the FP400 range, in four sizes from 0.3g to 1.0g. These floats are suitable for baits such as castor, maggot or meat. For a stable float that can be used even in windy conditions, the FP500 range is the perfect choice. This is a self-cocking, slim bodied float incorporating a long sturdy plastic tip with "spring" type eye attached and a strong wire stem. Ranging in five sizes from 0.3g to 1.5g, the FP500 is a great all-rounder. The final range in this collection, the FD100, is a dome topped dibber float. Much loved by many anglers, the dibber float is ideal for fishing up in the water or down the edge. It comes in sizes from 0.25g to 0.75g." All Frenzee floats can be seen at www.frenzee.co.uk, as can a list of retail outlets.
