Wye championship – 26th October

A reasonable draw to start the week off, although it is in the section with all the flier high bank pegs, it is just on the end of it, having said that the high bank had been a bit tricky the week before so all was not lost. Whenever I’ve been lucky enough to draw the high bank it has always been out and out waggler fished 4ft deep with an 8mm fishery pellet feeding the same, so today I thought that would be my opening gambit. 2 quick chucks with a method for a mug fish saw nothing so I was soon reaching for my 11ft 6 fxt waggler rod, an awesome tool for longer chucks or fishing deep venues where the carp live quite deep. » » Read More…
